MacBook Ban on Qantas and Virgin Australia
Qantas and Virgin Australia are becoming more strict on travellers using Apple laptops following a recall of selected MacBook Pro models. The recall is due to issues which can potentially see the battery overheat and potentially catch fire.
Qantas has advised that while travellers can still bring their MacBook Pro laptops on board domestic and international flights, they must remained turned off.
Travellers can check if their Apple MacBook Pro is one of the affected models by visiting the Apple Website.
